Orquesta Latin Heat - Featuring fiery rhythms, a swinging 3 piece horn section, authentic Latin vocals and percussion - a Latin Heat show is an exhilarating musical experience which will not be soon forgotten! Every performance by this 10 piece powerhouse band is a captivating celebration of original and classic Salsa, Merengue, and Cumbia music.
Based in San Jose, Latin Heat was formed in 2012 by a group of Salsa musicians from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the US East and West coasts, looking to share their love of this music through an authentic, professional and dynamic salsa and Latin music orchestra.
The public response has been phenomenal, and Latin Heat has performed at premier concert venues, festivals and clubs in Northern California, continuing to add fans with energetic and quality performances.
Orquesta Latin Heat has become one of the top drawing Northern California salsa bands, being a go-to Latin group to headline Bay Area concerts, with repeat bookings for many concert series and events.
Members of Latin Heat have years of experience as musicians with world renowned groups such as Santana, Orquesta La Solucion, Billos Caracas Boys, Los Blancos, Cano Estremera, Luis Enrique, Sangre Nueva, Dr. Locos Rockin Jalapeno Band, Los Niteliters and many Bay Area salsa and Latin groups.

Orquesta Latin Heat’s instrumentation features 2 lead singers, electric piano, bass, congas, bongos, timbales in the percussion section, and a horn section comprised of tenor sax, trombone, and trumpet. For smaller events and venues, Latin Heat can tailor the size of the band as appropriate.
